On the 30thJuly 2022, Dave Robb, our Sales Specialist will be taking on the highest 3 peaks Yorkshire has to offer, all in one single walk, supporting Springhill Hospice which is based locally in Rochdale.
This is a huge 24 mile long walk, with an elevation gain of 1,585m and a few exceptionally steep ascents! Taking on Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough peaks.
Dave aims to complete and finish walking all 3 peaks up and down within 12 hours!
When speaking to Dave and asking why he wanted to get involved, he said; “Three years ago, my mum passed away and during the last few years of her life she experienced a rapid deterioration caused by dementia. This year I wanted to do something to support her memory, something that could help people and families in those last stages.
I have chosen Springhill Hospice as it is an amazing charity that cares for adults with life-limiting illnesses, making sure that their last moments are as important and special as their first. They also care for the families and the friends of the patients to make the most difficult moments as easy as possible and assist them in the grieving process.
Without our support, the Hospice wouldn’t be able to stay open and continue to providetheir amazing support.”
